    Itinerary

    Day 1Arrival & Sightseeing around Yangon

    On arrival from the airport, you are transferred to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel and relax. Later start your Sightseeing of Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon. City tour, with as highlights our visit to the vibrant downtown area with its colonial-era buildings; the massive reclining Buddha at Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda; Kandawgyi Park; the royal floating barge named Karaweik Palace; and the world-famous golden stupa, Shwedagon Pagoda, whose golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Stay overnight in Yangon. (D)

    Day 2Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw / Sightseeing in Nay Pyi Taw

    After the breakfast drive to Nay Pyi Taw, the capital of Myanmar since 2005. Upon arrival we photo stops at the Parliament Building, three enormous statue of Myanmar Kings Anawrahta, Bayinnaung and Alaungpaya, Nay Pyi Taw City Hall and MICC, Myanmar International Convention Centre. After that, visit to Gem Museum; where precious jewels such as ruby and sapphire, quality jade lots and the largest pearl in Myanmar are put on display. Jade Museum; It is beautiful landscaped, with large jade boulders set amid its lawns, just next to Gem Museum.In the evening, visit the huge Uppatasanti Pagoda(Peace Pagoda), a replica of Yangon’s Shwedagon Pagoda built in 2009, is impressive – and has the added attraction of being able to walk inside its domed interior.

    Day 3Nay Pyi Taw-Bagan/ Sightseeing in Bagan

    After the breakfast we drive 4 hrs to Bagan for a comprehensive tour of this beautiful city, one of Myanmar’s premier historical and cultural centers, home to more than 2,000 temples and pagodas! Our tour includes shrines such as Ananda, Htilominlo, Thatbyinnyu, Dhammayangyi, Sulamani, and Shwezigon Pagoda, plus secular sights such as Nyaung U market and traditional workshops. Stay overnight in Bagan. (B, L, D)

    Day 4Bagan

    Start your morning with an optional hot air balloon flight over the plains of Bagan. Enjoy the fabulous views as the sun rises over the stupas and Irrawaddy River (Available only from Oct to Mar). After the breakfast, start this morning with a stroll through the lively Nyaung Oo Market before proceeding to Myinkaba village to view the local lifestyle and traditional lacquerware workshops. Continue to Myinkaba village and take a short walking tour to explore the temples of Manuha and Nan Paya. This afternoon visit the countryside village of Minnanthu. Here you will explore temples such as Payathonzu, Lemyentha and Nandamannya before taking a sunset boat cruise on the Irrawaddy River at an optional cost. Stay overnight in Bagan. (B, L, D)

    Day 5Bagan – Mandalay

    This early morning Leave Bagan and 4 hours’ drive to Mandalay, the last royal city of Myanmar Kingdom.Upon arrival, we will proceed to Amarapura, known as the City of Immortality. First visit Mahagandaryone Monastery which is the best place to experience the daily lives of the monks. After that, we will enjoy the unforgetable sunset over the U Bein, the longest Teakwood Bridge in the world. (Optional: visit Weirawzana Jade Pagoda.) Complete the day with the visit Mahamuni Buddha Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the life time of Buddha himself. Overnight stay in Mandalay. (B, L, D)

    Day 6Mandalay & Mingun

    This morning we head to the jetty for a pleasant boat ride upriver to Mingun. Upon arrival, explore the ruins of the vast Mingun Pagoda. Continue to the beautiful Hsinbyume Paya and the Mingun Bell, weighting 87 tons and being the world’s largest intact bronze bell. Sail back to Mandalay. In the afternoon, we will visit Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery – noted for its exquisite woodcarvings, gold leaf beating workshop and Kuthodaw Pagoda – known for containing the world’s largest book and conclude the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and the panoramic view of the city.

    Day 7Mandalay - Yangon

    After the breakfast, fly to Yangon. Upon arrival visit Botahtaung Pagoda which is hollow within, and houses what is believed to be a sacred hair of Gautama Buddha. Just on the left side of the pagoda’s compound is another interesting place for Bo BoGyi. It is a worship place for the Spiritual Being who is believed to be guarding the Botahtaung Pagoda. Proceed to the historic Bogyoke (Scott) Market (Closed on Monday& Public Holidays) to discover the thriving art scene or purchasing souvenirs for friends and family.
    In the late afternoon city tour, with as highlights our visit to the Colonial-structured Buildings in downtown area. Photo stop at St. Mary Cathedral, Independent Monument at City Center. Stay overnight in Yangon. (B, L, D)

    Day 8Depart from Yangon

    After the Breakfast, check-out hotel and transferring to the Yangon International Airport for your onward flight. (B)
