    Itinerary

    Day 1COCHIN

    Welcome to God’s own Country. On arrival, our representative will greet you at Cochin Airport and transfer to hotel. (Standard Check in time 14:00 HRS). The rest of day free for leisure at hotel.
    Enjoy a traditional Kathakali dance performance, showcasing Kerala’s rich cultural heritage.
    Cochin Cultural Centre is one of the prime organizations Working in the field of Art, Culture and Entertainment industry for the Preservation, promotion and propagation of our rich culture, tradition and heritage through ethnic performing arts of Kerala. We regularly conduct coaching classes in various disciplines of Kerala’s ethnic art forms as well as running two air-conditioned performing theatres for the regular performances of the traditional, ethnic art forms of Kerala with special reference to KATHAKALI.
    For the convenience of our guests, we have opened two air-conditioned performing theatres. Our main theatre is in the heart of Ernakulam city and the second one in Fort Kochi. Both the centres perform daily Kathakali shows with highly trained professionals. Makeup of the show starts at 4.30 PM and the actual show starts at 6.30 PM. The entire show lasts for an hour & the show is divided into three parts. Dancers perform a prayer, then there will be an introductory demonstration with English narration and finally the play itself.

    Day 2COCHIN

    After breakfast, proceed for Cochin sightseeing. Cochin, also known as the spice coast of India, is a port town that has attracted traders and invaders from the world over since early centuries. Needless to say, Cochin offers you some fascinating snippets of history and culture.
    You can visit Cochin city. Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtaking scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as ‘God’s Own Country’. The Chinese fishing nets (Cheenavala) are distinctly unique to Cochin. Visit Jewish synagogue, Dutch palace, etc.
    Some other places to visit in Kochi include Fort Kochi, Vasco House, Hill palace, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace, Bolghatty Palace and the Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary.

    Day 3COCHIN – KUMBALANGI VILLAGE DAY TOUR

    After breakfast transfer to Kumbalangi village. The duration of the package will be about two and a half hours if the guest choose the ‘without meal’ package and about three and a half hours if the guests opt in for a very nutritious and delicious meal which our guests can enjoy in the natural and rejuvenating ambience of the island enjoying the natural serenity of backwaters.

    ITINERARY
    • Arrival at Kallanchery island and receiving with tender coconut
    • Boat riding in the big country boat (provided with chairs and caps)
    • Visit Crab farm
    • Watching coir yarn making
    • Watching Toddy Tapping
    • Watching coconut leaves weaving
    • Visiting the agriculture farm (about 12 acres) and see different type of plantations (coconut, betel nuts, pepper, jack fruit, nut meg, anthurium, orchids, vanilla etc.), water harvesting ponds and bio-gas plants
    • Watching Chinese fishing nets
    • Lunch at the backwater front hall
    • Departure
    Afternoon back to hotel for overnight stay.

    Day 4COCHIN – ALLEPPEY HOME STAY

    After breakfast transfer to the home stay at Alleppey. Alappuzha (or Alleppey) is a city on the Laccadive Sea in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It’s best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons.
    Rest of the day is free at exploring Alleppey village. Mingling with local people, Cycling, Paddy field watching etc.
    Also the client will get the chance for Homely Cooking class. This culinary adventure will introduce you to the rich flavors of Kerala cuisine, known for its fresh ingredients and unique preparation methods. You’ll learn to create traditional dishes using seafood, spices, and coconut, all while enjoying the warmth of local hospitality.

    Day 5ALLEPPEY – KUMARAKOM

    After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a village on Vembanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala, southern India. It’s laced with canals, where houseboats ply the waters.Do Day cruise at Houseboat with Lunch.Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 6KUMARAKOM

    After breakfast, proceed for Kumarakom local sightseeing and visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.

    Day 7KUMARAKOM – KOVALAM

    After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Kovalam. Enroute visit Jatayu earth centre.
    Kovalam is a small coastal town in the southern Indian state of Kerala, south of Thiruvananthapuram. At the southern end of Lighthouse Beach is a striped lighthouse with a viewing platform. Palm-backed beaches also include Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach.
    Evening free at leisure at Kovalam Beach.

    Day 8KOVALAM – KOTTUR ELEPHANT REHABILITATION CENTRE

    The Kottur Elephant Sanctuary Rehabilitation Centre, home to 16 elephants, is being upgraded to become the world’s largest elephant rescue and rehabilitation facility once the facility is completed. It is spread across 176 hectares of forest and has the capacity to keep total 50 elephants in the future.
    Additionally, it was the first rehabilitation facility for elephants in India, built at an estimated cost of ₹105 crores. India’s oldest elephant, Soman, and its youngest elephant, Sreekutty, live here.
    It is best to visit the center between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., as this is when the elephants are fed and bathed. You can watch mahouts feed the elephants in the center. And, it is permitted for visitors to go near and watch. Visitors can also participate in these activities by helping the mahouts.
    The centre also offers elephant rides. Researchers and students can study giant mammals’ behavior here in an ideal environment.
    Kottur is home to one of the world’s biggest elephant parades held weekly. During the parade, the elephants walk in a line holding the tails of one another with their trunks.

    Day 9KOVALAM – POOVAR

    After breakfast, free at leisure at Resort.
    Afternoon proceed for Poovar sightseeing covering, Poovar Backwater boating, Aazhimala Shiva Temple, Kerala Arts & Crafts Village etc.
    Afternoon visit Handloom village where you can shop traditional Kerala dress. Then will show you the local shopping areas of Trivandrum City.
    Evening back to hotel and stay overnight.

    Day 10KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM – KOVALAM

    After breakfast, proceed for Trivandrum sightseeing covering, Museum, Zoo, Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Veli Tourist village, etc.
    Evening back to hotel and stay overnight.

    Day 11DEPARTURE

    After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transferred to Trivandrum airport.
