REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

AIR TICKETS

Madras Travels is a Travel Agent between the Airline and the Passenger to book a flight ticket. The contract of service for utilization of the flight/ticket is always between the User/Passenger and the concerned airline. As a Travel agent we have no control or authority over the schedule of the airlines and therefore we are not liable for any loss, direct or incidental, that a User/Passenger may incur due to such changes or cancellation of flights.
Airlines have the right to reschedule flight times, route, change or cancel flights without prior intimation to Madras Travels. Tickets (Domestic and International) on the same airline may vary and have different restrictions or include different services and fare. Any changes made by the User/Passenger on the existing booking shall be subject to certain charges levied by the airline, apart from the service fee charged by Madras Travels.

Refunds will be processed as per the airline fare rules and cancellation policy. Such refunds shall be subject to Madras Travels receiving the same from the airlines. However, the booking fee/handling charges paid at the time of booking ,to Madras Travels is non-refundable. The same procedure applies to any Reissued/Revalidated or Date change etc.

HOTEL BOOKINGS

Hotel Bookings Refund is based on the Hotel Cancellation policy. Every Hotel have their own Refund policy which needs to be followed.

Service Fee charged by Madras Travels is Non–Refundable , in case of any cancellations.

TRAIN TICKETS

Madras Travels is only a Travel Agent and a facilitator for booking of train tickets and provides intending travelers merely with a platform to search for desired train tickets to be booked through IRCTC. All bookings or train reservations made through Madras Travels are subject to the applicable Terms & Conditions as set out by Indian Railways.  Madras Travels has no control over the booking flow, scheduling/re-scheduling, cancellations, confirmation from RAC to
confirmed, delays, meal and berth preferences or any other lack or deficiency of services. Liability, if any, for the above said stands against the Indian Railways. Refunds as per the terms and conditions of IRCTC with a deduction of our services charges. Earlier booking fee charged on tickets will not be refunded.

VISA SERVICES

Madras Travels acts as a Service Provider for providing Visa Services for submitting the applications on behalf of the customers with the Embassy/VFS , Madras travels also assists
customers in filling online applications /Scheduling appointments/E Visas etc. For the services provided, Madras Travels charges a Fee in addition to the visa Fees charged by the
Embassy/VFS .

Madras Travels will not be liable to refund the service fees for any reason, even if the customer ultimately decides not to submit the visa application, or if the visa application is rejected. 

TOUR PACKAGES

If any Outbound Tour or Inbound tour is cancelled for any reason – including Visa Rejection/ Immigration issues or Voluntary cancellation by the Customer , the normal cancellation charges as mentioned in our mail will be applicable which includes Flights/Hotels/Transport/Entrance Fee/Guide Charges etc.
