Arrive Srinagar and then drive to Katra. Arrive and check into the hotel. Later proceed to Vaishnodevi Shrine which is around 14km Trek from Katra and the journey can be carried out either through the foot (which is the preferred option) or through palanquins and ponies. The Vaishno Devi shrine is one of Indias most visited pilgrim destinations. Vaishnodevi is a manifestation of the Mother Goddess Shakthi, more popularly known as Lord Shivas companion. The journey to the Holy Shrine is an enchanting journey of the places where Mata Vaishnavi had spent some time while observing various spiritual disciplines and penances. It is believed that she merged her human form with the astral form of her creators, the three supreme energies. Arrive at Vaishnodevi Bhawan. Wash and change before Mata Darshan. Thereafter return to Katra. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Today, proceed to Sonamarg- Meadow of Gold. The flower-carpeted fields surrounded by amazing glaciers, miniature plateaus, snowfields, pines and islets blue water lakes add beauty to this tranquil valley. From Sonmarg, you can also look at the towering snow-clad mountains of the Ladakh region that are a real treat to eyes. Check into the hotel and proceed to Thajiwas Glacier by walk or take horse ride where snow remains round the year. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Today, morning drive to Baltal and get ready to begin your Amarnath Yatra by helicopter. The helipad is just 10 minutes walk away from the huts at Baltal. The helicopter operates between 6 am to 5 pm. The helicopter operates till Panchtarni and from there trek to Amarnath cave which is around 6km. You can also take a Palki or Pony or Natural walk. Have a dip in the ice-cold water of Amarnath Stream, which flows outside the cave. Adore the tranquillity of white and glistering three massive Lingmas stand erect symbol of Lord Shiva, Parvathi and Ganesh inside the cave. After Darshan return in time to Helipad to take back to Baltal by Helicopter and then drive to Srinagar. On arrival check into your hotel and you are free to relax for the rest of the day.
After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the world-famous Mughal Gardens, built by Emperor Jahangir. Evening enjoy Dal Lake Shikara ride or Speed Boat ride or Visit the local crafts market and enjoy shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar airport/railway station for your return journey.
