Today, proceed for a day excursion to Baba Mandir. It was built in memory of a soldier in the Indian army who was drowned in a stream near the spot. Legend says Baba Harbhajan Singh appears the dreams of the fellow army men, foretells the dangerous activity on the border and safeguards the force. Visit Tsomgo Lake- a very sacred lake by the local Buddhists and the Hindus. Lake extends to 1 km in length, deepens to 15 meters and happens to be oval. The evening is free for you to relax. Today, proceed for a half-day local sightseeing tour of Gangtok covering Enchey Monastery, Handicraft Centre, Jhakri Waterfalls, Flower Show, deer park, viewpoint and Research Institute of Tibetology- world-famous centre for Tibetan studies and research. Then proceed to Pelling. On the way visit Ravangla, a small tourist town which acts as the starting point for the trek to Maenam la wildlife sanctuary. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. After breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Pelling covering – Darap Valley which is around 6 kilometres from Pelling, Rimbi Water Falls, Rock Garden, Kanchenjunga Falls, Khachoedpalri Lake. Continue sightseeing tour covering Pemayangtse Monastery one of the oldest and premier monasteries of Sikkim which follows the Nyingma Order of Tibet Buddhism and controls all other monasteries of that Order in Sikkim. Today, morning visit Tiger Hill which is situated at an altitude of 2590 meters, to view the mesmerizing sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga – Worlds third highest peak and then proceed to visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later embark on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling covering Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological park, Tea Estate, Ropeway, Tensing – Gumbo Rock, Tibetan Refugee selfhelp Centre, Natural History Museum, and Japanese Peace Pagoda.
