    Itinerary

    Day 1 Madurai - Kodaikanal

    Pick up from Madurai airport/railway station and drive to Kodaikanal- The princess of hill stations. Its name in the Tamil language means “The Gift of the Forest”.The charm of Kodaikanal lies in its wooded slopes, mighty rocks, the long stretches of forest and gigantic trees. Rest of the day is free for you to relax at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 2Kodaikanal

    Today proceed for a sightseeing of Kodaikanal coversBerijam lake- a 24-hectare lake which was created in 1863 by Sir Vere Hendry Levinge, the former Collector of Madurai. Proceed to visit Kurinji Andavar temple – a famous shrine dedicated to Lord Muruga. This temple is associated with the Neelakurinji flowers that bloom once in 12 years. Then visit Bryant’s park noted for its flowers, Green Valley, Pillar Rocks- a set of 3 rocks which stand 122 meters high and Coakers Walk – a hill edged pathway. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 3 Kodaikanal - Munnar

    Today drive to Munnar- a hill station blessed with tea plantations, unspoiled valleys and mountains, exotic flora & fauna and cool healthy air. Check into the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 4Munnar

    Today proceed for a sightseeing of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park – house of endangered wild goat Nilgiri Tahr, Tea Museum and the Tea factory, Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. The evening goes for shopping. Overnight stay at Hotel.

    Day 5Leave Munnar

    Check out from the hotel and drive to Madurai airport/railway station for your return journey.
